They must be enrolled in school with satisfactory grades and no criminal record

Children and Adolescents compete in the local tournaments to prepare for the international tournament in the United States

Why Helping those kids?

Today, There are an estimated 1.000 favelas in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil an over 1.5 million of people are living there. With so many people living in packed and illegal tenements, the communities have become a hotbed for crime and drugs.

The practice of sports is to the holistic development of children and youth. Sport also provides health alternatives to harmful actions, such as drug abuse and involvement in crime.

WHY MARTIAL ARTS?

In Brazil, youth participation in crime has grown in an alarming way, which has generated a concern to try to find solutions that can inhibit this growth.

The practice of Martial Arts is the positive role in the health, focus and development of children and youth to keep them training and stay away from drugs and crimes.
